Gasthaus Breitbrunnen in Unterkirnach

Pleasant atmosphere, very nice service, great food and drinks, we're going back.

Good home-style food, very simple beer garden, but friendly service

Today for the first time since the start of the (no longer so) new landlady visited the Breitbrunnen. The card is convincing, the service staff quick, friendly and professional. The excellently implemented corona rules did not affect the visit in any way. The food was delicious, and everyone at the neighboring tables was very satisfied. Even if nothing has changed in the furnishings and in the beer garden for the leaseholder, one notices a much greater attention to detail, cleanliness and an even better menu. We regretted not being there for so long and will change that in the future. Very child-friendly and dogs that behave themselves are also welcome. The only downer: the nice duck pond is drained. But one cannot blame the tenant for that; the owner would have to take care of that!

I come here regularly, the dishes are really tasty and of good quality. The portions are really big, everyone should really be satisfied here. My favorites are the 1A sausage salad and schniposa, but no matter what you choose, you will never be disappointed here. You are served very friendly and warm. The inn is in a great location and invites you to combine your visit with long walks or hikes. I also think that the very good in-house spring water is particularly great. Highly recommended...

1st assessment from May 2020: Full points. Nice restaurant. Today only stop on the bike tour. Next time come to eat. 2. Assessment June 2020: Now we wanted to take a break today. The Corona bow was filled out quickly. Unfortunately we were ignored for over 20 minutes, other guests who came after us had a menu and a drink. Too bad went away on an empty stomach. PS: The beer garden was similarly well attended on the first visit. You should optimize the ordering system, then you don't have to run in circles for 2 drinks.

100% recommendation, very tasty food and well portioned. The staff are all cheerful and very friendly. You don't have to wait long for drinks or your food. I like to come here more often. There's a nice atmosphere on top. In the evening partly shady or sunny. Thank you for a nice dinner 🙂

I made a special bike ride to the Gasthaus Breitbrunnen after reading a local paper article. The location is special and Eeva, the manager, was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Well worth the ride or drive to get there. I'll certainly be back!

Good food in a cozy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. There was also something to drink for the dog.
